About Washed Up Basketball Association
"The Formally Informal League"
To anyone who is a 18+ looking to compete on an organized sports team, while playing against some of your oldest friends in a recreational type of atmosphere: welcome to WUBA.
This is a 3v3 non-profit pick-up basketball league, where the league itself holds the same aspects of an actual basketball association consisting of a draft, multiple teams, scores, schedules, statistics, conferences, standings, playoffs and an awards ceremony at the end of the year. The big thing that differs this league from any other league is that there is no coaches or officiating, so players will call fouls and violations themselves, as well as making their own plays and strategies. The goal of WUBA is to give people who are out of high school an opportunity to be on a team and to gather as a community to appreciate the sport of basketball. 2021 will be the WUBA's fourth year as an organization.
